The Preserve at SaddleBrooke in Tucson, AZ, was honored with the Gold Achievement Award for their Sabino home design in the "Best Active Adult Home Design Over 2,400 sq. ft." category at the 2008 50+ Housing Symposium in New Orleans, LA.

Robson Communities worked with BSB Design, a Phoenix based architectural company, to develop several single family homes in The Preserve neighborhood of SaddleBrooke, including the award-winning Sabino.  The design objective for this luxurious home was to create an upscale environment with an informal and relaxed approach.  The home boasts ornate interior architectural detailing and an innovative relationship of indoor & outdoor spaces - including an intimate entry courtyard.  Old World styling meets southwest regional character to help capture the resort look and feel of the area.

Catering specifically to active adult buyer, the Sabino home plan offers several unique, age-targeted design features.  The single story plan includes extra wide hallways, and a full guest suite showcasing an attached walk-in closet, private bath and access to the covered patio at the rear of the home. Also, a casita at the front of the home is designed as a studio space, with a main great room/bedroom area, private bath and wet bar.  At 2,681 sq. ft., other features of the Sabino home design includes a split floor plan, spacious master bedroom, large master bath, den (or optional 3rd bedroom), 3-car garage, 2-1/2 baths and an optional side-entry garage.  Three other home designs are showcased at The Preserve neighborhood ranging in size from 3,144 to 3,461 sq. ft.
