Fitness Classes
Fitness classes at Quail Creek welcome new students to join at any time. Classes include: Step & Sculpt – a step aerobics class using the Reebok step platform, Strong, Stretched & Centered – stretch all major muscle groups, core strengthening, balance, and relaxation, Total Body Conditioning – Focus on Muscular balance, strength, and flexibility using hand held weights, exercise tubing, and balls.

Line Dancing
Line Dancing is fun exercise for anyone – no partner required. Both beginners and intermediate dancers are welcome. Line Dancing takes place weekly and is held in a variety of locations within the community including the Madera Clubhouse and Anza Athletic Club. No sign up is needed; just join in when you can.

Pickleball Club
Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in the U.S. The Pickleball Club at Quail Creek promotes the sport by fostering a friendly community of players to get together for social events, competitive play, and to provide instruction and equipment.

Quail Creek Couples’ Golf Association
The 18-hole championship golf course at Quail Creek encourages fun golf and good company! Men and women team up as a couple each month and participate in a fun tournament that incudes a prize and lunch with their entry fee. Check out the Couples’ Club on the Homeowner’s website!

Quail Creek Hikers
The beautiful Green Valley area weather and nearby mountains make Quail Creek a desirable retirement destination for active adults. The Quail Creek Hikers club hikes weekly from October through April, with varying trail levels of difficulty, from moderate to strenuous.

Quail Creek Ladies’ 9-Hole Golf Association
The Quail Creek Ladies’ 9-Hole Golf Association enjoy golf, fellowship, tournaments, invitationals, luncheons, and other special events. Five golf scores are required to establish a handicap. There is an annual due which includes handicap fee and league dues.

Quail Creek Ladies’ 18-Hole Golf Association
Quail Creek Ladies’ 18-Hole Golf Association meets weekly for organized play. The ladies, who are usually paired in flights, participate in ABCD and low gross- low net tournaments, as well as four major tournaments each year. Join this spirited group to learn about the game, meet other lady golfers and explore your talents.

Quail Creek Men’s 9-Hole Golf Association
The Desert Duffers mission is “Golf is a Game! Have Fun!” Golf activities are conducted in accordance with USGA, AGA, local, and Desert Duffers standing rules. AGA handicapping is used for both individual and team events. Golf outings at other courses and social activities with wives are included.

Quail Creek Men’s Golf Association
The Quail Creek Men’s Golf Association hosts weekly events that include scrambles, ABCD teams, partner and individual play to provide enjoyable opportunities for every skill level. This club also hosts a Club Championship, President’s Cup and an Annual Invitational.

Quail Creek Softball Club
Senior (55+) slow pitch softball is a major activity in the Green Valley area. More than 150 players of both sexes and all skills are currently playing. Games are generally in the mornings, year round.

Quail Creek Veterans’ Golf Association
The purpose of the Quail Creek Veterans’ Golf Association (QCVGA) is to promote the game of golf, encourage good fellowship, and sportsmanship among the Military Veterans, spouses, widows, and widowers of the Quail Creek community. Tournaments are held at various courses within the Green Valley, Sahuarita area.

Quail Creek Table Tennis Club
All are welcome to come play Table Tennis (Ping Pong) with this very friendly and outgoing group. All skill levels are encouraged to participate. This club meets in a variety of rooms within the Anza Athletic Club.

Quail Creek Tennis Club
Quail Creek Tennis Club promotes an active program of tennis by organizing men’s, women’s, and mixed play, conducting tournaments and sponsoring social events.

Quail Creek Trekkers
The Trekkers Club strolls through the beautiful desert mountains of the greater Tucson area. Strolls are 5-7 miles at various speeds, but usually with an option for less.


Art Glass
Enjoy learning to create stained glass windows, sun catchers, platters, bowls, vases, and more. Work with lead, foil, mosaics, or warm glass. Studio open selected times with trained monitor on duty.

Quail Creek Ceramics Club
The ceramics studio is open to all interested homeowners. The club has greenware, bisque, and paints for you to use. They also work with clay and offer classes to get you started.

Quail Creek Lapidary & Jewelry Making Club
The club offers training, lectures, and workshops in cutting and polishing stones, silversmithing, chainmaking, beadweaving, precious metal clay (PMC), and other jewelry making techniques. The shop is equipped with a rock saw, grinders, polishers, soldering equipment, and a PMC kiln.

Quail Creek Needlework Club
Held in the Needleworking studio within the Creative Arts & Technology Center, the Needlework club encourages and supports all needlework crafts: needlework, embroidery, quilting, crochet, and knitting – anything with a needle.

Woodcrafters
This group is comprised of members interested in making wood items like toys, tables, wood inlay projects, large and small projects, etc. They also include wood burning and whittling. In addition, the group meets to share knowledge, patterns, and craft tips.


Casual Dance Clubs
If you like to fast dance, slow dance, or anything in between, then this is the club for you! The Casual Dance Club welcomes new members to their monthly dance events which are held in the Madera Clubhouse between October and March. live bands play a variety of music from oldies to contemporary and from rock and roll to country.

Quail Creek Performing Arts Guild (Theatre Group)
The mission of this club is to present variety, musical drama, and comedy productions for the enjoyment of club members, Quail Creek residents, and their guests. If you enjoy singing, dancing, acting, directing, playing a musical instrument or are just a fan of performing arts, you are welcome to join this club.

Quail Creek Blanket Brigade
Through the gift of lovingly handmade blankets, this not-for-profit service organization works to provide a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are in substantial distress in their lives. Blankets of all sizes and styles will be welcomed.

Living in this 55+ community presents many opportunities to participate in a variety of events with neighbors and friends. Homeowners enjoy a social calendar full of activities, annual events and more!

5k Walk/Run Fundraiser
Benefiting a variety of local organizations in the Green Valley and Sahuarita area, the annual Quail Creek 5K Run and 2K Dog Walk is a great way to come together and support the community.

Chili Cook off
Quail Creek hosts a Chili Cook Off where local first responders compete in a People’s Choice contest. Proceeds from this fundraiser benefit families in need within the local area.

Cool Car Club Car Show
The Cool Car Club Car Show fills the Madera Clubhouse parking lot with sleek, shiny and classic cars. Earnings from the show are donated to a local non-profit each year.

Fall Festival Arts and Craft Fair
This event brings residents and clubs together to showcase a large variety of handmade items including jewelry, wreaths, sewing crafts, woodworking, many different art forms and much more.

Health and Wellness Fair
This fair is held in the luxurious Madera Clubhouse and features an average of 50+ health professionals and businesses with health screenings, product samples and information about healthy living.

Jazz in the Desert Concert/Rotary Club
Hosted by the Valle Verde Rotary Club of Green Valley, the Jazz in the Desert Concert includes performances by local high school bands. All proceeds benefit each schools music program and other local, national and international Rotary projects.
