PURPOSE OF POSITION/SUMMARY

This Banquet Sous Chef is responsible for assisting the Chef in overseeing food preparation, supervision of kitchen staff, menu planning and inventory control. PURPOSE OF POSITION /SUMMARY

The corporate controller is responsible for direct supervision of the accounting and financial functions of the Robson Companies which includes management of accounting staff, A/P, A/R, and payroll. Is responsible for employee relations matters as well as ensuring work deadlines are achieved; coordinates and supervises all governmental, financial and insurance audits. Will be oversee approximately 14 financial audits, ACC reporting for 8 utilities as well as internal and year end financials for approximately 52 other entities.

Monthly reporting – review of all company monthly financials for approval of monthly reporting – reviews trends, inconsistencies. Quarterly reporting – 6 homebuilding/developer companies, 4 senior living, 1 multi-family, 4 construction, 8 utility, 2 commercial leasing, 9 homeowners associations and 5 miscellaneous others. Oversight of all previously mentioned company checks.

Oversee payroll processing and all 1099, W2 and payroll quarterly reporting as well as workers compensation management. This position will work with senior management on issues such as litigation support, research, financial reviews and analysis. Will work daily with insurance brokers on statement of values, renewals, allocations, reconciliations, adds and deletes, invoices and audits for all companies’ insurance policies. This position has access with all banks, approving banking limit and security changes, co-system administrator for online banking. Will work with internal programmer for all changes and upkeep on the AS400 and JDEdwards systems; sets up accounting and systems for all new companies until stable enough to pass on to subordinate. Works closely with Treasurer for all duties including investment accounting, contributions and distributions, and assist on tax reporting. Will perform other job duties, as assigned.
