Quail Creek Semper Fi Club Annual Charity Golf Event Success

The Quail Creek Semper Fi Club is an association of Marines and Friends of the Corps. Recently, the Quail Creek Semper Fi Club held its annual charity golf event. Four groups played for the coveted bragging rights. Lunch at The Grill followed the event. Members, as well as guests, enjoyed the luncheon on the Grill patio.

This golf event provides an opportunity and focuses on raising donations for Semper Fi and America’s Fund. The Fund is a 501(c)(3), rated as one of America’s best charities. The two funds provide urgently needed resources and support for combat wounded, critically ill, and catastrophically injured members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families. Originally, the Semper Fi Fund was started in 2004 for Marine and Navy veterans, and shortly after, combined with the America’s Fund (supported Air Force and Army veterans) to become the Semper Fi and America’s Fund. Since its inception, the Fund has generated more than $250,000,000 touting 94 cents on the dollar to our veterans and their families.

The Quail Creek Semper Fi Club 2022 golf event raised over $9,930 and is still collecting donations. This remarkable achievement reflects the dedication of Marines and Friends of the Corps to take care of their own!
